We supply a full range of hearing aid styles, but focus more on the most discrete solutions available.
Behind the Ear
Long gone are the days of big, beige, behind-the-ear hearing aids. Though still available (in a multitude of stylish colours), they are only normally required for those with very profound hearing loss or manual dexterity issues, as they have larger batteries and controls for manipulation. They can be optioned with either a custom-made ear-mould or a slim tube and silicon dome.
RIC (Receiver in Canal)
This hearing aid is a tiny device which is placed on top of your ear. It is attached to a very thin wire that sits inside the entrance to your ear canal. Very comfortable and easy to manage, they are the most popular option today.
CIC (Completely in the Canal) and the IIC (Invisible in the Canal)
These hearing aids are self-contained units, custom-made to the individual shape of your ear. The entire device sits completely inside your ear canal, providing the most discrete hearing aid solution available.
ITC/ITE (In The Canal/Ear)
These hearing aids have a similar construction to the CIC but they differ in the size and where they sit in the ear. For instance, ITCs sit partly down the ear canal and partly in the concha (visible part of ear), whilst ITEs take up most of the visible space within the ear. They are suited to more severe hearing losses than CICs and have larger controls and batteries for easier manipulation. They are also available with wireless and Bluetooth technology.
Offered in a wide range of styles and levels of technology (including wireless and Bluetooth compatibility) from a selection of the top Hearing aid brands in Australia, we will tailor these instruments to best suit your hearing levels and lifestyle.
